The Co-managing partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial Law Area of DWF-RCD, and Global Head of Corporate of DWF, assumes command of one of the most relevant associations in the bounds of business operations

The Barcelona chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a worldwide non-profit organisation and a reference for professionals connected to the world of business operations, has appointed Adolf Rousaud as its new president, a position in which he succeeds Javier Pérez Farguell. To date, Rousaud has served as vice president of the organisation, of which he has also been a council member.

ACG was founded in the United States in 1954 and has become the leading global community of professionals involved in commercial operations, whether they are investors, owners, or advisors. The organisation has more than 15,000 members in 59 chapters around the world. The Barcelona chapter, founded in 2010, one of the most active in Europe, is made up of top-level management profiles – capital providers, companies with inorganic growth, and service advisors – and aims to share experiences and relationships, becoming a forum for promoting the growth of both its partners and the companies to which they belong. The entity provides services to more than 90,000 investors, owners, directors, credit institutions, and advisors on the internationalisation of medium-sized companies. Additionally, ACG Barcelona has an extensive program of activities that includes conferences with executives, networking events and even an award that recognises the best corporate operations of the chapter's companies.

Co-managing partner of the DWF-RCD law firm and Head of its Corporate and Commercial Law Area, as well as the Global Head of DWF's Corporate Area, Rousaud has extensive experience in the field of legal advice, especially in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, project finance and corporate governance and compliance, having participated in important international media operations. His clients include multinationals, listed companies and SMEs from various sectors, such as real estate, distribution, hotels, and technology. Likewise, he is a member of the board of directors of various industrial companies in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, energy, and automobiles.
