DWF-RCD appoints new partner, Gerard Pérez Olmo

With the addition of this new partner, the firm reinforces its competition law area

On the back of its recent integration with DWF, and continuing its commitment to attract top talent, the global legal business, DWF-RCD has appointed Gerard Pérez Olmo as a partner in the Competition area of the business, allowing DWF-RCD to further increase its multijurisdictional capacities.

Pérez Olmo has over 20 years of experience in matters related to restrictive competition practices, the control of concentrations and unfair competition, on which he advises numerous companies and national and international associations, acting before administrative authorities and judicial courts on both a domestic and EU level. He also has an in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework of various regulated sectors, such as energy and healthcare, telecommunications and transport.

DWF-RCD’s new partner has a law degree from University of Pompeu Fabra and a Master’s Degree in European Community Law, Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He is currently President of the Spanish Association for the Defense of Competition (AEDC).
