DWF-RCD, among the most outstanding law firms in Chambers FinTech 2020
In its first edition in Spain, the prestigious legal directory has highlighted DWF-RCD as one of the most recommended firms in this practice and Ignasi Costas in Band 1
Chambers and Partners has recently published its guide Chambers FinTech 2020, which includes the leading firms and lawyers in this the knowledge economy field. In it, the legal directory has recognized DWF-RCD as one of the firms with the greatest expertise in this sector, which emerged from the revolution in the financial sector with the disruptive impact of technology.
At the individual level, Ignasi Costas, head of the firm's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area, has been featured in Band 1, ranking as one of the best Spanish lawyers in Fintech practice. It should be noted that only two lawyers have been featured in this band. Costas is also highlighted in Band 1 in the practice of Private Equity: Venture Capital in Spain.
Chambers prepares the guide based on independent research through interviews with key figures in the innovation sector, both domestically and internationally.
This recognition enhances the positioning of DWF-RCD as one of the leading companies in the field of innovation and technology, and adds to other recognitions such as the one achieved in the Financial Times FT - Innovative Lawyers ranking, which has highlighted the firm among the most innovative in recent years; the ranking in El Referente, which has highlighted the firm as the most specialized in start-ups in both its editions (2017 and 2019); and that of Expansión, which placed the firm among the best in the categories of digital Economy and most innovative project, and Costas among the 10 best lawyers in Spain in its latest Expansión Jurídico Awards.
