Information note and editorial article on special purpose acquisition companies
Our Corporate Area has prepared an analysis of the regulation of listed companies with acquisition purposes, also known as Special Purpose Acquisition Companies" ("SPAC"). This new regulation is part of the recently approved Law 6/2023 which regulates the basic legal framework of the Spanish securities market and derogates the revised text of the Securities Market Law approved by Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015.
At the same time, Ignacio Aragón, Partner of the Corporate Area, has signed an editorial article in which he analyses the arrival in Spain of the SPAC regulation.
