Our Competition Law Area has prepared the following analysis on the new competition rules applicable to distribution agreements in the European Union
On May 10, 2022, the European Commission adopted new competition rules applicable to "vertical" agreements (essentially, agreements for the supply and distribution of goods and services, in their various modalities) at the European level. The new Regulation (EU) No. 2022/720, of block exemption, will replace the previously in force Regulation (EU) No. 330/2010, on this same subject as of June 1, 2022.
