Training session: “Software and AI: Legal Issues”
David Villa, Partner of our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area, took part as an expert in a session organised by the Rovira i Virgili University Foundation (Furv), in collaboration with IRB Barcelona, IPHES, and the ICIQ, focusing on the legal challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the scientific and technological fields
During the session, aimed at research staff and PhD students, the main regulatory developments relating to AI were analysed, along with key issues such as ownership of software developed using these tools and the legal obligations arising from their use in projects with potential for technology transfer.
