Experience

Judith has extensive experience providing legal-strategic advice and specialised training to all agents of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. (start-ups, spin-offs, spin-outs, knowledge-based companies, universities, foundations for biomedical research, public research centres, innovation agencies, science parks, public administrations, private investors, venture capital firms, industries, and large corporations), in all kinds of innovation projects (research activity, knowledge transfer, entrepreneurship, investment, public-private collaboration, corporate venturing in its different variants, and M&A) and throughout all stages (incorporation, growth and expansion, structuring, and in the carrying out of their activities), in regard to strategic and recurring aspects, in addition to serving as a Secretary (non-director), on several Boards of Directors of digital, scientific, and technological companies.

She has also authored and co-authored studies supporting legislative modifications and the maturation of ecosystems related to her area of practice and expertise, including her collaboration in the OECD Report on improving knowledge transfer and collaboration between science and business in Spain of November 29, 2021, having led the development of internal regulations for several public institutions regarding their participation in knowledge-based companies. This has earned her the appointment as a member of the Committee of Experts on Transfer Activity and Knowledge-Based Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Spanish National Research Council, and the Galician Innovation Agency.
