Manina Medtech has concluded a funding round to advance the industrialisation and clinical validation of Seedchrony, the first solution capable of assessing in real time whether the uterus is ready for embryo implantation on the day of transfer

Seedchrony assesses uterine readiness for embryo implantation using uterine biomarkers and the patient’s clinical parameters. The measurement is carried out non-invasively, without the need for tissue biopsies or fluid aspirations; it takes just two minutes and provides immediate results.

The medical device has already yielded very promising results in a pilot trial involving 80 in vitro fertilisation patients, carried out in collaboration with the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital – Research Institute (VHIR) Foundation.

A team led by Ramon Manyà advised Manina Medtech on this transaction. Previously, the firm also advised the start-up on its first investment round.
