This appointment strengthens a team of highly specialised professionals in a field characterised by a high degree of technical complexity and increasingly sophisticated regulations
Francisco de Asís García has extensive experience in tax proceedings before the tax authorities in defence of taxpayers. Throughout his career, he has led numerous appeals before various courts, including Economic and Administrative Courts, High Courts of Justice, the National High Court, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Holding a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the University of Murcia, Francisco also holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced and Specialised Legal Research from the same university and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from ENAE Business School. He has a PhD in Law and was a finalist for the Fernando Sainz de Bujanda National Thesis Prize in Financial and Tax Law. He combines his professional practice with a distinguished academic and research career. He is a research fellow at the Chair of Regional Finance and the Regional Finance Observatory of the Region of Murcia, as well as a member of the Professional Forum on Law and Business Administration and Management. He is also a professor at ENAE Business School, where he teaches on the Master’s in Tax Consultancy, the Master’s in Financial Management, and the Master’s in International Trade.
He has also spoken at courses and conferences at various universities and institutions and is the author of numerous publications and papers presented at specialist seminars, as well as articles in leading legal and sector-specific journals.
