Sabseg, a leading independent insurance brokerage in Spain and Portugal, strengthens its national and international expansion plan with the acquisition of Asigest Broker and Seguretxe, brokerages based in Italy and the Basque Country, respectively
The acquisition of Asigest marks the start of the growth strategy for Sabseg in the Italian market, with the aim of consolidating its position as one of the leading players in insurance brokerage in Southern Europe.
The purchase of Seguretxe, which specialises in insurance for SMEs/the self-employed and health insurance, represents a step forward in the company's goal of exceeding EUR 1 billion in premiums under management by 2028.
A team led by Iñigo Montesino-Espartero advised Sabseg on both transactions.
