The biomedical company, Aortyx, closes an EUR 13.8M funding round to promote its patch for aortic tears
Aortyx, a biomedical company that develops a minimally invasive solution for aortic dissection, has closed a funding round for EUR 13.8M
The new funds will be used to advance the first clinical trials in patients of its bioabsorbable patch that treats aortic tears. The company aims to treat at least half of the 50,000 people in Europe who suffer aortic dissections each year.
A team led by Ramon Manyà and Kevin Pallarés advised Aortyx on this transaction.
