Amendments to Royal Decree-Law 32/2021 and Law 21/2021 of December 28, regarding urgent measures for labor reform and pension reform
Our Labour Area produced the following document on the modifications to Royal Decree-Law 32/2021 and Law 21/2021 of December 28, on urgent measures for labour reform and pension reform in Spain
On December 23, an agreement was reached to reform the spanish labor market. This agreement was incorporated into Royal Decree-Law 32/2021 of December 28 on urgent measures for labour reform, the guarantee of employment stability and the transformation of the labour market, which was published on December 28 in BOE and which entered into force on December 31.
Additionally, the pension reform (Law 21/2021) also entered into force, on the guarantee of the purchasing power of pensions and other measures to strengthen financial sustainability, which presents new developments in terms of revaluation, reduction coefficients or early retirement, among others.
