Experience

Carlos' professional practice covers a wide range of corporate, real estate, and financial regulatory matters.

He specialises in the establishment and structuring of alternative investment funds (private equity, venture capital, real estate funds, funds of funds, etc.), advising both fund managers and investors.

Additionally, he has extensive experience in M&A transactions, all kinds of commercial agreements, financing transactions (real estate and corporate), banking law, financial regulatory and securities market law, as well as anti-money laundering matters. He has participated in several corporate financing, refinancing, and restructuring transactions.

In the real estate field, he focuses his practice on buying, selling, and (re)financing assets and portfolios (hotels, residential assets, etc.), management platforms, relevant individual assets, and joint venture agreements for the development or investment in real estate projects.

Before joining RCD, Carlos worked at DAC Beachcroft and CMS-Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo.
