The biotechnology company qGenomics, a leader in carrier screening and array analysis, has completed its integration into Veritas Genetics, an international company specialising in genomic sequencing, with services aimed at both clinical and preventive genomics, and part of the LetsGetChecked (LGC) group
This strategic transaction strengthens the position of Veritas in genomic medicine by incorporating cutting-edge technologies, such as screening for recessive monogenic diseases.
qGenomics was founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
A team led by Oscar Alegre and David Pintos advised qGenomics on this transaction.
