RCD names new partners: Fernando Blázquez, Felipe Cabredo, Alejandro Griffiths, Cristina Gómez, and Salvio Codes

The firm continues its commitment to talent and meritocracy and has internally promoted five lawyers to partner. The new partners have vast experience and a deep understanding of their practice areas. RCD brings its partner total to 40 after these appointments, which have bolstered its tax, innovation and entrepreneurship, administrative and urban planning, and dispute resolution practices

RCD has remained true to its commitment to promoting internal talent and its merit-based philosophy by naming Fernando Blázquez, Felipe Cabredo, Alejandro Griffiths, Cristina Gómez, and Salvio Codes partners. RCD bring its partner total to 40 after appointing these professionals, and has enlarged its tax, innovation and entrepreneurship, administrative and urban planning, and dispute resolution practices.

Fernando Blázquez
Fernando is a State Tax Assistant Inspector on leave with a wealth of experience providing tax advice, and a large part of his work involves inspection, management, customs, and collection processes carried out by the Spanish tax agency and other tax authorities. He is also an expert in advising on tax appeal proceedings and administrative appeal proceedings. He has assisted an array of clients, including a variety of companies and individuals.

Felipe Cabredo
Felipe boasts over 20 years of practice in procedural law. He is an expert in real estate and construction, as well as in corporate, financial, banking, contractual and civil liability conflicts, where he advises developers and builders, financial institutions, insurance firms, multinational companies, family businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurs. He has extensive experience in defining strategies both in the pre-litigation phase and in the judicial and/or arbitral phase of any procedure or conflict. He is also highly knowledgeable on insolvency law.

Alejandro Griffiths
Alejandro is a corporate law specialist with a strong focus on innovation and entrepreneurship and has extensive experience in international procurement. He has a strong track record advising technology companies, universities, and research centers on intellectual and industrial property protection, technology transfer, and company formation, which also includes assisting with any institutional and internal regulation issues faced by these organizations.

Cristina Gómez
Cristina has over 30 years of experience providing legal advice, and is specialized in administrative law and urban planning, public utilities and amenities and local law, as well as administrative litigation. She has extensive experience in advising public organizations and private companies on administrative aspects and administrative disputes. She has also become specialized in administrative law related to urban planning, environmental law, compulsory purchases, government procurement, local tax offices, and civil services, among other areas. Cristina is also a specialist in pre-litigation negotiations.

Salvio Codes
Salvio has over 10 years of experience before the courts of justice, and is an expert in civil procedural law. Over the course of his career he has provided advice on all types of proceedings related to contractual and extracontractual liability, corporate disputes and bankruptcy law. He has assisted real estate companies, financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, industrial companies and insurance firms, as well as companies from the telecommunications and software sectors and the automobile industry. He is also an expert in building, distribution, agency, franchise, and medical malpractice, among other areas.
