The firm achieves excellent results in the 2021 edition of the European guide of the prestigious legal directory at both firm and individual levels and maintains Band 1 in Private Equity: Venture Capital

The prestigious directory Chambers and Partners has just published the results of its Chambers Europe 2021 guide. In this year's edition, DWF-RCD has improved its positioning, placing itself among the leaders in business law with nine recognised practices in the Spanish section of the guide, including recognition as Band 1 – the highest rating in the directory – in Private Equity: Venture Capital. The firm also repeats in the five existing practices in the Barcelona section: commercial, tax, litigation, labour and bankruptcy.

In addition to the firm’s recognition, DWF-RCD has also achieved excellent results at an individual level, with 26 mentions received. Among these mentions, the high presence of the firm's partners in Private Equity: Venture Capital, a practice in which DWF-RCD has the largest representation in Spain with three lawyers from the firm (Ignasi Costas, Carles Ros and David Villa); or the positioning of the Tax Area, which highlights José María Durán, Jorge Sarró and Diego Artacho. Jordi Albiol, partner in charge of the Insolvency Law Department, is also ranked Band 1 in Restructuring/Insolvency: Administration.

The results in the European guide join those achieved by DWF-RCD in the Chambers Global Guide, where the firm has once again positioned itself in the Corporate/M&A and Dispute Resolution practice areas. The firm is also a leading firm in the Chambers & Partners Fintech and High Net Worth guides, where it is among the most prominent firms in both disciplines.

These mentions certify the broad presence of the firm and its professionals in the main areas - legal and sectoral - of business law, which keeps DWF-RCD among the leading law firms in the industry.
