Chambers & Partners Fintech 2021 recognises DWF-RCD as Fintech leader in Spain
The prestigious international legal directory, Chambers & Partners, has recognised DWF-RCD as one of the best firms in the Spanish market for this practice and Ignasi Costas as the best Fintech lawyer in Spain
Chambers & Partners has published their Chambers FinTech 2021 guide, in which they recognise the best lawyers and law firms in this innovative sector. In the guide, DWF-RCD has improved on the excellent results seen in the previous edition, standing out as one of the best law firms in this rising discipline, which unites the financial and technology sectors.
Similarly, on an individual level, Chambers & Partners has recognised Ignasi Costas, co-managing director of the firm and head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship area, as the only lawyer with Band 1 status, which places him as the best Spanish lawyer in this innovative practice. Costas also has Band 1 status in the Private Equity: Venture Capital practice in the Chambers & Partners European guide.
Chambers creates the guide by carrying out an independent investigation through interviews with key players in the innovation sector, on a national and international level.
This recognition supports DWF-RCD’s position as a law firm of reference in the most innovative and disruptive areas. This acknowledgement joins other recognitions received this year, such as those from the Expansión Jurídico Awards, which placed DWF-RCD among the top firms in the Digital economy, Health sciences, Insurance and Most innovative project categories; as well as the commendation as best law firm for start-ups in the 2020 El Referente ranking.
